Snapshot of articles about Asian Philanthropy:
What Should South Asians Do With Their Wealth?
Sudhir Venkatesh posts on the Freakonomics blog about his discussion with six prospective donors. These donors have committed their personal resources - a collective sum of $2 million and they hope to raise more. These donors are not like other immigrants- they are not the working class poor and they don't settle into traditional neighborhoods. It is good to see that many are interested in giving in the U.S. and not overseas.
